How Much Does an Exhibition Stall Cost in India? Rates by Size, Type and Finish
Explore exhibition stall design cost in India by size, type and finish. Compare indicative budgets, quote inclusions and extras, then get a KaamKraft estimate.
For early planning, allow an indicative ₹7,000–₹25,000 per square metre for custom exhibition stall design and fabrication in India. A 3 m × 3 m stall therefore works out to roughly ₹63,000–₹2.25 lakh. Space rental, GST and separately quoted services are extra.
These figures are a budgeting guide, not fixed KaamKraft prices. Your final quote depends on the design, materials, venue and work included
Exhibition stall design cost by size
The table multiplies the same indicative rate by the stall’s floor area. A simple display and a premium launch stall can have very different costs, even when they occupy the same space.
The range converts to approximately ₹650–₹2,320 per square foot. Premium or complex builds can cost more, while small stalls may have minimum production and delivery charges.

Choose the right type of stall
A shell scheme is the organiser’s basic stall package. It usually provides a standard structure and specified furniture or lighting. Check what your booking includes before ordering extra items.
ICERP, for example, lists furniture, carpet, lighting and an electrical outlet in its 9 m² shell package. Inclusions vary by event.

A modular stall uses reusable frames and panels. It can suit businesses attending several shows, provided storage, transport and new graphics are included in the budget.
A custom stall gives you more freedom over layouts, displays and branding. Premium finishes, screens and elaborate structures add to the cost. Larger pavilions need a design-specific estimate.

What makes one design more expensive
The amount of construction matters as much as floor area. Extra walls, raised flooring, storage rooms, curved counters and tall structures all add material and labour.
Flat printed graphics need less fabrication than illuminated lettering or backlit displays. Painted surfaces require preparation, while glass and metal elements can add handling and installation work.
Does the exhibition city affect the price
Yes. Transport, local labour, venue rules and installation access can change the delivered cost. For Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune or Ahmedabad, request a venue-specific quotation. For Delhi NCR events, identify whether the venue is in Delhi, Noida or Gurugram so travel and delivery are priced correctly.
What should your quote include
Ask for the design, fabrication, graphics, flooring, lighting and furniture to be clearly described. Confirm the number of counters, chairs, lights and display units rather than accepting a general promise of a “complete stall”.
Then check transport, installation, dismantling and on-site support. A lower price becomes less attractive if these services need to be added later.

Watch for costs outside the build
Exhibition space rental is separate from stall construction unless your contract explicitly combines them. GST, power connection, electricity consumption, internet, equipment hire and organiser charges may also sit outside the build price.
CIC 2026, for example, published a ₹9,000 rental for a 43-inch display with a floor stand, excluding GST, for its show period. This is an event-specific reference, not a KaamKraft rate.
See CIC’s furniture and equipment rental schedule
Ask who pays for crew travel, loading, unloading and waste removal. Read your organiser’s manual before approving production, especially where design approval or restricted installation hours apply.
A simple budget example
Suppose you need a 6 m × 4 m corner stall. Its area is 24 m². At an assumed rate of ₹12,500 per m², the base build calculation is ₹3 lakh.
This is an illustration, not a quotation. Confirm displays, furniture, lighting and finishes, then add taxes and any excluded services.
How to keep the budget under control
Finalise your dimensions, product displays and artwork early. Use standard furniture where it works, avoid unnecessary partitions and spend on the branding and lighting visitors will notice most.
If you plan to reuse the stall, compare storage, repairs and transport with the cost of a fresh build. Keep safe electrical work, structural quality and professional installation fully specified.
Compare vendors using the same brief, materials, quantities, delivery scope and tax basis.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 3 m by 3 m exhibition stall cost in India
A 9 m² custom stall calculates to roughly ₹63,000–₹2.25 lakh using the indicative range in this guide. This covers a build estimate, with organiser space rental, taxes and excluded services added separately.
What is the exhibition stall cost per square metre
An indicative custom-build planning range is ₹7,000–₹25,000 per m², approximately ₹650–₹2,320 per ft². It is not a nationwide average or a fixed KaamKraft rate; the design and scope determine the quotation.
What is included in stall design and fabrication
Inclusions depend on the written quote. Confirm design, structure, graphics, flooring, lighting and furniture, then check transport, installation and dismantling. Ask for quantities and material specifications so you can compare vendors fairly.
Is GST included in an exhibition stall quotation
GST is included only when the quote explicitly says so. Ask for the subtotal, applicable tax and final payable amount to be shown separately, including any organiser or equipment-rental invoices.
How early should I book an exhibition stall contractor
Start discussions once your space and dates are confirmed. Around six to eight weeks is a useful planning allowance for a custom build; complex designs may need longer. Follow the organiser’s approval deadlines.
Can I reuse my stall at another exhibition
Yes, reusable frames, counters and display units can be designed for future shows. Confirm ownership and compare storage, repairs, replacement graphics and transport with a new build. The next venue’s layout and rules must also work.
